The Very Busy Day and the Very Noisy Night

We read The Very Busy Day and The Very Noisy Night by Diana Hendry and used a venn diagram to compare the two stories. We focused specifically on the comparisons related to day and night. Then we made a mouse craft because the characters in the book are mice. You can get the pattern and instructions for making the mouse here.

I love Venn diagrams. Really gets kids thinking. These books and mouse craft look like fun.

Are you books in ziplock baggies? What a neat idea to protect and use for display.
I love your blog. You keep your kindergartners challenged and engaged. I am a para for half day kindergartners AM & PM and they don't do nearly as much of what you promote in Kindergarten...I'm worried about their first grade experience {overload}.

Yes Patrice. The books are in baggies. I put them in, zip them up, and staple the bags to the bulletin board :)
