Dog Loves Drawing
Today in writer's workshop we read the book Dog Loves Drawing. Then we drew pictures of whatever we wanted and labeled them. The kids loved this book!

Your students are doing a great job. I really like the writing paper. I have a question, what is the number on the corner for?
Ana Marie
The number in the corner is just the page number. There is a sheet at the front of the journal for the kids to color in for what page they are on. Then they turn to that page. It is just a way to try and keep them from skipping pages.
Like the idea of numbering the pages. My students have a hard time going to "the next blank page" sometimes and this is a great idea.
the drawing is so cute, i remember the time when i studied to learn drawing, lol

I just wanted to thank you so much for the work you've done with the children here and for posting their pictures. I'm SO HAPPY to see my book being used to encourage children to draw and explore and express themselves and their interests. Very best wishes for all your work and please congratulate the children on theirs! Louise x
