I love Todd Parr's books!! Here is a great one for Earth Day.
a few more great earth day read-alouds....
Several years ago a first grade teacher on my campus started an Earth Day Book Swap. Kids brought in books from home that they had already read or no longer wanted and traded them for other books brought in my other kids. It was a great example of how we can reuse things and the kids loved it!

I love Todd Parr books too. I use the Earth book and the Little Critter's books as well.
The book exchange sounds like a good idea.

The Earth Day book swap is a great idea! We did a book swap at my school also, and we picked up books from library book sales for next to nothing. I had blogged about it a while back:

Thanks for sharing about all of your book swaps. I love them!!
I love the idea of a book swap as well. I think maybe it would even work as an idea for some teachers and those old dusty books I have sitting on a shelf...hmmmm, I'm inspired!
