I was a kindergarten teacher for 14 years until last year when I took a position as a kindergarten and first grade strategist for my district. While I no longer have a class of my own, I still get to teach young children all over the district. I will always be a kindergarten teacher at heart.
I graduated from Dallas Baptist University in 2008 with a masters in curriculum and instruction. I am currently working on my doctorate in early childhood education with a minor in curriculum and instruction at the University of North Texas. I hope to one day teach at the university level. I love what I do and want to pass on all that I have learned over the years to fellow teachers and students!
Hi April, I shared a TLC lesson with Kaye Espinosa on Jan.11. It was the Martin Luther King Jr. project. We will be making Barack Obama this week. Thanks again for putting me on your blog roll. Tonia mrsvento.blogspot
