A lot of people have asked me to share my zoo ideas.... so here they are.
zoo unit
- Mrs. Larremore
- I taught full-day kindergarten for 14 years and have spent the last 2 years as a kindergarten and first grade strategist working all over my district. I am excited to say that this school year I will be back in my own kindergarten classroom!! While I loved working with kinder and first grade teachers and their students, I missed having a class of my own. I graduated from Dallas Baptist University in 2008 with a masters in curriculum and instruction. I am currently working on my doctorate in early childhood studies with a minor in curriculum and instruction at the University of North Texas. I hope to one day teach at the university level. I love what I do and want to pass on all that I have learned over the years to fellow teachers and students!

You know I adore your zoo stuff! We are going to the San Antonio zoo towards the end of March, so you better BELIEVE I'll be using this stuff! I'm also doing zoo animal research (I think when I was with your class, they did rain forest animal research? I don't remember), so I'm excited to incorporate that into the activities too!
