I was a kindergarten teacher for 14 years until last year when I took a position as a kindergarten and first grade strategist for my district. While I no longer have a class of my own, I still get to teach young children all over the district. I will always be a kindergarten teacher at heart.
I graduated from Dallas Baptist University in 2008 with a masters in curriculum and instruction. I am currently working on my doctorate in early childhood education with a minor in curriculum and instruction at the University of North Texas. I hope to one day teach at the university level. I love what I do and want to pass on all that I have learned over the years to fellow teachers and students!
Great Activity. I have in my lessons to review estimation next week and move towards determining by estimating if an multi digit equation is solved correctly. This will be a great review activity. You are awesome!
I found your Valentine estimation activity on Pinterest! This is a great math activity for young learners! I just shared it on my blog with a link back to you. Thank you for the freebie!
