- I taught full-day kindergarten for 14 years and have spent the last 2 years as a kindergarten and first grade strategist working all over my district. I am excited to say that this school year I will be back in my own kindergarten classroom!! While I loved working with kinder and first grade teachers and their students, I missed having a class of my own. I graduated from Dallas Baptist University in 2008 with a masters in curriculum and instruction. I am currently working on my doctorate in early childhood studies with a minor in curriculum and instruction at the University of North Texas. I hope to one day teach at the university level. I love what I do and want to pass on all that I have learned over the years to fellow teachers and students!

Hey April! I can't see/download your fabulous Christmas around the world/class book documents. Is there any way you can email them to me? :) I am on a Mac, not sure if that is my problem?

Meaghan--I'm having the same problem on my Mac! I have to open it on my pc at home in order to get them to work!
Any thoughts on how to fix this? I'm in the midst of my Christmas around the World unit and would LOVE to use some of your ideas!!

I'm working on a Mac and had the same problem but I think I worked it out so I can see it! I downloaded the document from Chalk Talk Blog/.docstoc onto my computer and then uploaded the pdf into Google Docs. Some how it fixes the problem and I can see all the words just fine. Also with Google docs you can then access the file from any computer or internet capable device.
