Melissa and Nicole from Lesson Plan SOS have so graciously offered to give away a $50 gift certificate to use on their site for the month of November. To enter, all you have to do is post a comment to the following question "What are you most thankful for?"
A few new items I found at Lesson Plan SOS that you may want to check out are The Guided Math Icons and Guided Math Schedule, the 50th day of school celebration packet under the "November Social/Science" Ideas, the Pilgrim and Native American Venn Diagram and Thanksgiving Celebration File, and all the items in the Teacher Reading Binder inspired by Fountas and Pinnell under "Must See Buy Me."
Be sure to leave your email when you comment. The give away will end at midnight on Saturday, November 20th. The winner will be chosen in a random drawing. Good Luck!!

I am over-the-moon thankful that my parents decided to teach and raise our family overseas. Now, because I learned Spanish growing up in Costa Rica, I teach the Spanish Native Language first grade class at my elementary school. I am SO THANKFUL that I get to spend my days with my amazing group of ENL kiddos and that I get to teach in Spanglish all day long! :)

I am most thankful for all the ways God has provided for our family in the past 5 months, our move home so we are now near family, a teaching position, a house to live in, renters for the house we still own, always just enough money to get by, and now a growing family.

I am most thankful for a wonderful career. I love teaching so much, and can't ever imagine doing anything else. I have always struggled with finding things that I am "good at" in my life. Teaching is one thing that makes me feel successful! I remind myself each morning just how lucky I am to have a job that brings me so much joy.
