Got Snow?

Mitten Math- the mittens were made from the TLC Lessons mitten - we worked as a group to number out mittens by two- we laid the mittens out on the carpet so that we could look for patterns in the numbers- we also talked about odd and even numbers- we used the Stuart J. Murphy book Missing Mittens









Baby it's Cold Outside (until the sun comes out) snowman sequencing

Be warm inside and out- hot chocolate math- students used playing cards as number generators- they drew cards to see how many marshmallows they needed to add to their mug- then they made addition equations
